Materials

The HMR is a full-carbon shaft constructed with low modulus fibers. It has an extremely thicc wall, making it very durable.

Flight And Ease Of Tune

The size, density, and tolerances of this shaft make it an easy tuner.

One of the greatest benefits of low modulus carbon is that the window of tune seems to be far greater, resulting in a much more forgiving arrow setup.

Best Fletching Practices

For field points and more compact mechanicals 3 medium height or 4 low profile vanes work well.

For fixed heads 4 medium height or 3 high profile vanes will provide sufficient stability.

For extra-large and wide cut fixed heads 4 high profile vanes are recommended.

For best performance always fletch at a 2 to 3 degree helical.

Component Details

The Micro-Cap is a one piece outsert/collar hybrid. It covers the first .875 inches of the shaft and uses the larger diameter collar to provide increased durability over convention internal fit outserts. By passing the threads into the shaft leverage is also decreased resulting in an even stronger front end.

The titanium component (Grade 5) weighs 54 grains and the Aluminum (7075) weighs 34 grains.

All components recieve standard 8-32 threaded points.

DURABILITY IN A FULL-CARBON SHAFT

Thicker walls, lower modulus fibers, and purpose built components create micro diameter shaft with unmatched durability.

TIGHT TOLERANCES & LESS VARIANCE

The techniques used in rolling the shaft minimize the variance from the mandrel to the finished product. Resulting in a more consistent shooting experience.

FAQs

Is the HMR made in America?

The HMR is manufactured overseas, like virtually all other carbon arrows.

How long does it take to ship?

We typically ship in 1-2 days.

Is the HMR too heavy for me?

This depends on your goals. If you find the HMR too heavy, decrease your point weight and shorten your carbon, you may find you can even drop a spine.

Compatibility with other brand's hardware

The HMR will fit all .166 ID arrow components. Exact fit will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer depending upon tolerancing.

Why don't you have a lighter arrow?

As arrows are made lighter the amount of material decreases and the shafts can experience an increased frequency of durability issues.

Lighter shafts are in development but require more complicated layups and additional testing.

Spine Calculator

The spine calculator can consider more variables than a spine chart resulting in a more forgiving setup.

Our Favorite Arrow!

We’ve used the HMR arrow for the last couple of years. We’ve never had an arrow fly so smooth and so accurately. They’re ready for any species we hunt here in the West. We’ve seen them completely pass through deer and buffalo. Highly recommend these arrows!

Been using the HMR's for a while. Strongest built arrows I've ever used. Easy to tune as well.
