How it works
Carbon Length
The calculator will assign your carbon length to once inch below your draw length. This provides clearance for most arrow rests.
Energy Estimation
Spine charts fail to account for the total potential energy of the shot.
Winning Combo
The calculator will build every available combo and score them against a rubric designed to deliver optimal results
Target Specs
FOC
An FOC (Forward of Center) value of between 10% and 20% will deliver optimal results. Keep in mind that FOC is a function of the entire build.
Arrow Weight
An arrow weight giving you speeds from 260 (low) to 290 (high) will have consistent flight characteristics and a forgiving trajectory.
Carbon Length
Typically, you want to use as short of an arrow as possible. Cutting one inch below draw length works with most collars. Cutting equal to draw length will put the point past your riser.
