How it works
We take your information and inject it into our spine calculating algorithm and compare it against spine models specifically developed for our shafts. That algorithm will return several tunable options while allowing you to tailor your build to exactly what you want.
Build Considerations
- Shoot for a moderate build if able. Try for a moderately weighted arrow (5.5-7.5 grains per pound) with good speed.
- Begin with 100 or 125 grain points. You will have a wider range of builds available.
- Watch your speed. Most people will find fixed heads tune easier below 285 fps.
- Choose Super Sabres for fixed heads and mechanicals if you have the vane clearance. Mini Sabres are for very compact fixed heads and mechanicals.
- Do not cut your arrow too short. The Micro Cap components will cover 7/8 of an inch of carbon.
We use the draw length that your cam or mod is set to for calculations. Consult your bow specific mod chart or email us for assistance in obtaining this information.
Your brace height is the distance from the deepest part of your bows grip to the string. You can provide this measurement, or you can use the number given by your manufacturer.
IBO speed is used for the speed estimation calculation. IBO is not used for the spine and point weight calculations due to the unreliable nature of the data provided by bow manufacturers.
If you do not know your bow IBO, you can leave it at 340 or you may provide your best guess.
Because of this the speed is only an estimate and no guarantees are provided.
